Due to the swaged mechanical connection made at 20,000 pounds, the rung will not fail even under extreme conditions. Depending on the gauge required, steel versions meet ASTM A1011 or ASTM A1008 standards. The light weight, aluminum option is extruded 6063-T6 material and meets NEMA loading requirements.
